Formed in 2006, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Central Ohio (APABA-CO) is the sole Asian Bar association in Central Ohio, with more members joining every year. Through professional networking, social and family events, we keep our legal community connected to one another, as well as to the Central Ohio legal community at large. We strive to support the professional growth and advancement of our members; to promote the leadership, advocacy, and community involvement by and among our members; and give a voice and a presence to Asian Pacific American (APA) communities in Ohio.

Recent Announcements:
APABA-CO proudly stands in solidarity with Mathura Sridharan on her historic appointment as Ohio’s Solicitor General. We unequivocally condemn the racist and xenophobic remarks directed at her in the wake of this achievement. Ms. Sridharan is eminently qualified for this role, and any attempt to undermine her merit or professionalism—particularly in response to her choice to honor her cultural heritage in her official photograph—is a reflection of prejudice, not principle.
We call on community leaders, institutions, and all who value equity and justice to affirm and protect the constitutionally guaranteed expressions of faith and culture for every individual. Diversity is not a deviation from professionalism—it is a strength that enriches our public institutions.
